FORTRAN'Z COMPUTERZ

These are my funny little guys! If you want to help me maintain them, consider buying a commission on my Ko-Fi

HAL 9000

HAL-9000 is my main desktop. He's got 32 GB RAM, a 500 GB SSD, a 500 GB HDD and a 1TB HDD. The terabyte drive is from Cinderblock, who is also on this list ...!

PRIMO

Primo is a Lenovo Yoga 9i. Hes my current laptop :) I got a job just to save up for him. hes got 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. Its been so nice having a laptop again after Craig died.

CRAIG 🕊

Craig is a Microsoft Surface Book [g1]. I got him for my birthday in 2017. I had to get him replaced multiple times, and at some point he stopped recognizing his tablet battery. Because of the design it made it so I would have to power him down and manually poke at his locks to switch modes. I have stuff to repair him, but his screen is shattered, so it'll be a while, if I ever do it at all. Rest in peace, you served me well! 🕊

BRICK

Brick is an IBM Thinkpad R52. He's the closest I could find to my first laptop, which I believe was an R51 I got from my dad. He runs WindowsXP and he helps me test software and, occasionally, do commissions. I named him after how heavy he was, though now he pales in comparison to some of my other machines.

WOLF

Wolf is a Compaq Prolinea 4/25s. He was one of the computers my dad had left sitting in the basement. He runs like a dream! I would like to get him a soundcard and a CD drive someday.

WAITER

Waiter is a Server.. at least thats what I've been told. He needs a new power supply. Currently he shows no signs of life.

MAC

She's a Macintosh! I found her at a local antique store for $100. She boots up fine but I don't have any accessories for her yet.

CINDERBLOCK

Cinderblock is an old HP prebuilt. They used to be my main machine. Nowadays they have a 500GB HDD and run WindowsXP , albeit, against their will. That computer was not designed to run XP, but its a miracle it was able to run 10. Its kinda Pathetic

COWBOY

Cowboy is a refurb Lenovo Thinkcentre. He's only got displayport, which was SO inconvenient to setting him up, but he's up and running now, and he's helping me make this site! Hes a sort of DIY server (sharing a single folder over the network) because I didnt want HAL to have to stay up all night if I wanted to work from my laptop.

DOG-E

DOG-E might not even need introduction. He's a Windows XP machine (seeing a theme?) my dad had built as a "forever computer". His name comes from the feet on his case, which when turned on its side, look like paws! He's currently out of commission, as his graphics card went kaputt. He's a fan favorite on Tumblr and Artfight

ZUUL

ZUUL is my current main XP machine. I found him at the thrift, and knew I had to get him since I NEVER see computers at our local thrift store. Don't know if he had anything fun on him, he didn't want to boot up and I did not feel like fucking with it. I let gateway do its recovery and he runs great now!

MISCELLANEOUS

ROYAL

He's a cash register. Picked him up from the thrift because thats cool

CASIO FX1000G

A small old graphing calculator I saw on Ebay. I love how square it is :3c

CASIO COLORPRINT

A small adding machine that runs on batteries. I think I still need to get a new ink roll for it.

SMITH CORONA MEMORY CORRECT II

An electric typewriter I picked up at an antique store. Even had all its documents with it! works super well :-)

VICTOR

A super old adding machine from the 40's I believe?? I don't know how it works
